FAQs

What's the difference between the services?

At 8:00 you’ll get a traditional Lutheran liturgy with the organ and traditional hymns.

At 10:30, our worship band, SpiritSong, leads contemporary worship songs and traditional hymns with guitar, drums, keyboard, and harmonica.

Holy Communion is offered at both services. It’s an open table, and all who believe in Jesus are welcome to commune.

What should I wear?

Whatever you feel comfortable in! Many folks wear jeans and t-shirts. Come as you are—there’s no dress code in the kingdom of God!

How long is the service?

Services typically last 60-70 minutes. On the last Sunday of the month, there’s a coffee hour after the 10:30 service, too!

Can I bring my kids?

Absolutely! We love to hear the pitter-patter of little feet in the sanctuary. A nursery is provided at the 10:30 service for kids under 5.

Can I attend if I'm___________?

However you fill in the blank, the answer is yes. Regardless of age, race, background, or beliefs, you are welcome at New Promise.
